Electoral thugs at the early hour of yesterday caused commotion at the pulling unit in Lagos, Report had it that they disrupt election materials and brutalized Arise TV crew member who came to cover the electoral process.
The attack was to prevent them from filming the evil act they were performing in the pulling unit.
According to a report by Arise News, their crew members who went to cover the electoral process in Ikate, Elegushi Area of Lagos State have been brutally attacked and detained while their drones and cameras were also seized.
Arise News’ Journalist, Oseni Rufai also confirmed the report in series of posts that was shared on his official twitter handle. In one of the posts, he said, ‘Arise Crew attacked in Elegushi’.
Pictures of one of the crew members attacked at the polling unit were also reposted by Oseni Rufai. The pictures were captioned, ‘Opeyemi Adenihun of Arise TV has been Brutally attacked and assaulted. The Crew has been held hostage too! RT for the World to See!!’

At this moment, they have not released the Arise crew member and the culprit are yet to be found.
